Is electrosensitivity real Four Case Studies Of the Electrosensitive People

Electrosensitivity is a field that has suffered so much prejudice. Whether electrosensitivity real or myth is highly debatable? All the information and the studies around it, lots have been said and done. Yet, no common agreed idea concerning electrosensitivity has been bred. Case studies don’t lack, plenty has been carried out, although their credibility is not unanimous.

You may have heard of a case, or been a victim of one without even been aware. This is the proper opportunity to know where you stand. Sit tight, and be prepared to receive what will give you the proper information to discern electrosensitivity.

CASE STUDY 1: Ontario 2004, Canada, 51-year old woman.

This is the case of an old lady about the electrosensitivity real issue with no health complaints before, believing she was 100% healthy. Yet, she saw some symptoms disappear from her body after using an electrosensitivity protective device, the STETZERIZER Filter. This might be the first time you heard about this device.

The STETZERIZER filter lessens high-frequency impurities on the electrical system in your residence (www.stetzerelectric.com). So how did this device enlighten this 51-year old woman?

She decided to install dirty electricity filters in her room and workplace. Every day, a week before the installation of the filters and 4 weeks after, she filled a wellness inquiry form. Readings of the dirty electricity were recorded in her house with the dimmers switched on and off.

What is dirty Electricity?

For those of you that might be lost, dirty electricity is denoted as, poor power quality. It’s the power flow befalling on electrical/electronic devices, leading to the impairment of electronic appliances (World Health Organization, 2004).

With dimmer switches off, the dirty electricity in her home reached a peak of 470 GS units. While with dimmer switches on, the dirty electricity reached 1130 GS units. GS (Graham-Stetzer) units, is a measuring unit of the average magnitude of the voltage flow.

One GS unit represents 24 Volts/second (www.stetzerelectric.com). A dimmer switch is a dirty electricity loving device. The Graham-Stetzer filter dropped the values from 300 to 40 GS units, with a dimmer switch off. Whereas with dinner switches on, the values dropped from 440 to 70 GS units. In her workplace, the filters were barely able to cut the dirty electricity from 400 to 100 GS units. This was due to microflows from nearby offices.

So did the lady benefited?

This old lady believed she was in good shape and even rated herself high on the wellness form. Yet, these are the following changes she noticed after the filters were mounted.

First, she slept better. She will even dream intensely. She had more energy, she felt less muscle pain, stiffness and headaches. The cold extremities of her body she felt at night was all gone.

In the end, the dirty electricity level in her home was measured. The results revealed that the high values originated from the room where she felt ill. So, this change felt by the 51-year old woman could not come from space. It came from electrosensitivity.

CASE STUDY 2: A 55-year old man case.

This is the case of a man about the electrosensitivity real issue who reported his medical condition to Dr Waldmann-Selsam. The man engaged in the function of a precision mechanic by trade. He later reoriented into a machine tool technician.

Who is Dr Waldmann Selsam?

Dr Waldmann Selsam is a practising doctor. She co-initiated the Bamberger Appell (2004), and is a member of the Medical Quality Circle “Electromagnetic Fields in Medicine – Diagnostics, Therapy, Environment”. She’s renowned because of her surveys in the domain of mobile radio transmitters, and their case studies all over Germany (http://www.aerzte-und-mobilfunk.eu/wir-aerzte/aerzte-und-mobilfunk-wer_wir_sind/cornelia-waldmann-selsam/).

His first visit to Dr Waldmann-Selsam occurred at the beginning of 2009. During his consultations periods with Dr Waldmann-Selsam, he reported a plethora of symptoms. Several days sunburn in the face and neck, difficulties to fall asleep, slow wound healing, and chronic fatigue were among. He equally complained of rapid heart-beat, lack of drive or motivation, itching, antipathy, allergic reaction, and headaches.

The actual cause of his problems?

He also suffered from weight gain, difficulties finding words, forgetfulness, nausea, and diarrhoea. Overall, he listed 84 different symptoms, which he said occurred very often. He blamed the symptoms to be linked to wireless radiation exposures. He also pointed out DECT cordless phones and Wi-Fi networks used at his workplace, as causes. From the diagnosis of the symptoms by Dr Waldmann-Selsam, she said the case of Mr Z is a significant example. In lots of cases, electrosensitivity is disguised as psychiatric diagnoses or other diseases. This case helps unveil the confusion and calls for more studies.

CASE STUDY 3: Pilot experiment; Dutch electrical hypersensitivity (EHS) foundation.

In 2013, the Dutch EHS foundation published an article on a survey about the electrosensitivity real issue. The study aimed at breeding approaches to understanding this phenomenon, and to take action against it. The study provides results obtained from a research questionnaire.

This questionnaire was distributed among EHS patients, afore and after they took measures to cut contact with EMF radiations. Symptoms people suffered, and the effects of the strategies used to reduce them were part of the information collected. A list of curable symptoms was obtained, based on data received prior to field control.

What were the symptoms?

Poor concentration, bad sleeping quality, restlessness, fatigue, irregular blood pressure, memory loss, easy irritation, were among the symptoms. From the survey, a “short list” of EMF reduction techniques that attested most effective, was obtained. They were: reducing PC and TV use, switching from DECT to corded phones, decreasing mobile phone use, and disconnecting Wi-Fi routers. The survey participants were followed between 2011-2012 before EMF protection, and after EMF management by shielding and prevention.

It was fascinating to observe that several persons sensitive to EMF revealed electrosensitivity to other environmental factors. For instance, sunlight, odors, numerous biotic or abiotic stress-inducing triggers (pollen and fine air particulates), and low-frequency sounds (Hagstrőm et al. 2012). A number of 96 persons completed the questionnaire concerning EMF in their home or work milieu. Yet, 68 of them provided a thorough series of responses vis-à-vis of the home situation. This served as the basis of the analysis of the study.

The results?

In the final analysis, EHS symptoms reported varying broadly amid electrosensitives. The several approaches approved to reduce the symptoms were also variable. This instability may contribute to the level of incredulity concerning electrosensitivity. No doubts anymore why electrosensitivity is not easily accepted by knockers. A diagnostic protocol is desperately necessary by the medical profession (Hedendahl et al. 2015).

CASE STUDY 4: Impact of electrosensitivity on Indian IT professionals.

This case is another electrosensitivity real issue which narrates the results of a survey on Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Fields (RF-EMF) radiation. The aim was to register the health effects of professionals in the Information Technology (IT) field. This was done following voluntary and involuntary whole-body exposure to RF-EMF radiation. That is, the survey participants lived and worked in a totally saturated RF-EMF radiation environment.

How was the test conducted?

Using a prepared questionnaire, built on 18 non-specific health symptoms and medical conditions, the survey was performed. It took place in a high outdoor RF-EMF area, within the IT companies of Tidel Park and Tharamani, in South Chennai. The sample size of the survey was 200, but actually, 178 took part after elimination of alcoholics and smokers.

The results revealed a plethora of symptoms with the most common being hair loss and the least depression. Fatigue, trouble sleeping, headache, poor short-term memory, depreciated feelings, toothache, are the other symptoms reveal from the survey.

Conclusion?

All the IT professional possessed cell phones, most of them used a wireless computer. The least of them used a landline telephone. The conclusion of the surveyed recommends safeguards and prevention against RF-EMF radiations. The survey clear spots outs the effects of electrosensitivity on IT professionals in Indian (Sivani and Sudarsanam, 2016).

In any event, it’s clear that case studies of electrosensitivity do exist, and they possess non-negligible information. What we do of the information can save our lives or lead them to doom.

The above four cases are just the tip of the iceberg about the electrosensitivity real issue. Know about how EMF causes health problems here
